Looking for something to do this weekend? here's our guide to some of the events taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

The good news is you can leave your umbrella at home as the weather is looking dry with highs of 19C on Saturday and 17C on Sunday. 

The Lulworth Estate is set to host its first ever off-road cycling event this Sunday. The event, held in conjunction with British Cycling, will include a 46km and a 59km route, across sections of the estate not usually accessible to the public. Online entry is now available through British Cycling. Entrants must be over 16, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult entry: £30. U18's: £25. The Margaret Green Animal Rescue in Church Knowle will host a country fayre this Sunday from 11am until 4pm. The fundraising event features stalls, activities, a barbecue, sheep shearing display, dog dancing demonstration and appearances from the rescue animals.  For information call 01929 477070.

The Pedal Power 2016 event takes place this Sunday and will see participants take in the views of the New Forest. It begins at 9.30am at the White Buck Inn at Burley and aims to raise much-needed cash to benefit more than 700 heart patients of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
It is hoped the event will raise enough money for the new vascular transducer probe used to treat heart rhythm disturbances. Cyclists can take part in either of the 10km, 50km or 100km routes. All finishers will receive a Pedal Power medal. Visit bournemouthhospitalcharity.org/pedal-power 

The Great Bransgore Charity Beer Festival takes place at The Three Tuns in Bransgore this weekend. There will be approximately 80 different ales, 20 ciders and various wines to sa,ple. There will be live music throughout the event together plus a hog roast. 

The Bournemouth Orchid Fair and Show runs at Wimborne's Allendale Centre on Saturday from noon-4.30pm. Exquisite and intriguing orchids on display and refreshments available. Entrance £3 and children free.

Wimborne Model Town’s Mini Steam and Vintage Day takes place this Saturday. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the town centre aboard a vintage 1950s Bournemouth bus. There will be a performance by the Land Girls plus a selection of vintage bikes and vehicles to view. Call 01202 881924.

The nine-day Purbeck Walking Festival comes to an end on Sunday. There are organised walks taking place on Saturday and Sunday for all abilities including a 13-mile walk at Worth Matravers. Visit walkswanage.com 

A wedding exhibition is to be held at the Littledown Leisure Centre on Sunday from 11-3pm. With up to 85 local wedding suppliers and fashion shows. Admission is £2.

A special parade takes place in the New Forest on Sunday. The 17 Port and Maritime Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps, will be awarded the Freedom of the New Forest District in Lyndhurst. More than 200 personnel from the Marchwood-based regiment and band will parade through the town, starting at the Beaulieu Road junction with Lyndhurst High Street. The parade is expected to reach the High Street at around 2.30pm.

Find out more about the incredible fossils found along the Jurassic Coast on Saturday. Author Sam Scrivens will be talking about the World Heritage Site and the amazing things to be found there at the Chesil Beach Centre. It takes place from 11am to 12.30pm and tea and cake will be on offer from the Taste café. Booking is essential. Phone 01305 206191.

Explore the woods, meadows and heath of Corfe Barrows nature park with a guided walk. Nicky Hoar will be leading the walk and the event is part of the Great Heath Living Landscape project. It takes place from 10am on Saturday, September 24 and anyone wishing to go along should meet at the Corfe Mullen recreation ground on Badbury Road. There is a suggested donation of £3.

Inside Out Dorset runs until Sunday. The annual spectacular, which started on Thursday, promises a host of free family-friendly events from circus performances to installations. On Saturday Harbourside Park in Poole will host Up in the Air - an outdoor contemporary circus performance with acrobatics, high wires, a boat with its own mobile storm and an illuminating finale.
