THEY say there aren’t enough bobbies on the beat, but that wasn’t the case at Camp Bestival this weekend.

A number of police officers busted some moves, to the delight of festivalgoers.

Despite the gloomy weather, PC Conroy and Special Constable Borrill were getting groovy at the front of the stage during Becky Hill’s set.

And Special Constable Cox drew in the crowds as he showed off some of his moves in an impromptu dance-off.

The footage has since made national headlines.

Dorset Police Assistant Chief Constable Mark Cooper praised the officers who interacted with the public at the festival.

“We’re really proud of the work of our officers who were supporting the onsite security at Camp Bestival. Whilst being vigilant in protecting the public, as a safe family event, officers were able to spend time interacting with festival goers and families.”

He added: “By engaging with members of the public in this way, we hope it will build relationships and encourage young people in particular to run to us when they’re in danger, rather than be scared of the uniform.”
