A SKINNY dip will take place in Dorset as fundraisers shed their clothes in aid of charity.

The risqué event has been organised to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The Poole branch of Marie Curie has organised the event for September 17, with money going towards people needing end of life care and support from a Marie Curie nurse.

Those taking part in the event will walk to a nominated site where they will shed their clothes before entering the sea.

The event will last for 10-15 minutes depending on the weather conditions. Only people over the age of 18 can take part.

And there will be support services on hand to ensure safety.

Only registered participants will be allowed near the dip site. Supporters will not be permitted to attend. The exact location has not yet been revealed.
