FROM wolfhounds to pugs, vizslas to schnauzers, there were dogs to suit all tastes at a Purbeck dog show on Sunday.
Hosted by Margaret Green Animal Rescue at its base in Church Knowle, near Corfe Castle, the show featured two arenas, an agility demonstration and plenty of associated attractions.
As well as the chance to take home a winning rosette on the day, contestants were also battling for a chance to compete in the Buckham Fair dog show at Beaminster.
There were 'novelty' and pedigree dog show classes, 'heelwork to music' displays at Purbeck Dog Dancing and a variety of other canine capers.
The event raises funds for the charity, which has two other bases, at Lincoln Farm near Blandford and at Wingletang near Tavistock in Devon. It also has a charity shop in Winton.
Animals rescued and rehoused by the charity include cats and dogs, of which many at the show hailed from the sanctuary.
Other animals include rabbits and chickens, horses, donkeys and goats.
