A WOMAN who died in a head-on collision at Bloxworth has been named as Bournemouth nurse Corina Diaconu.
Mrs Diaconu, 35, was trapped in her car following the crash at 8.40am on Sunday March 11. She died at the scene.
A Bournemouth inquest heard her silver Vauxhall Astra was travelling east on the A35 when it collided with a silver Peugeot people carrier.
Coroner’s officer Andrew Lord told the inquest: “For reasons yet to be established, her vehicle crossed over to the westbound carriageway and collided head-on with a people carrier travelling in the opposite direction.”
Assistant Dorset coroner Brendan Allen heard Mrs Diaconu, of Lampton Gardens, Bournemouth, died of multiple injuries.
Five other people, including a teenager, were seriously injured in the collision.
They included the 55-year-old male driver from Poole, a man and a woman in their 20s, and a woman in her 40s.
