POOLE: An Easter fun day organised by Poole's business improvement district team will take place in Falkland Square on Saturday, March 31 between 10am and 4pm. Visitors can enjoy face painting, children's entertainments, crafts, competitions and dance displays, as well as an Easter egg trail around the town.

HURN: Visitors to Adventure Wonderland in Hurn over the Easter bank holiday weekend can enjoy egg and spoon races and Easter egg hunts in the maze.

CHRISTCHURCH: A special Easter egg hunt will take place at Stewarts Garden Centres in Christchurch and Broomhill between March 23 and March 31. Children will be challenged to find six giant eggs in each centre.

STUDLAND: Follow this family trail around Knoll Beach to solve a whodunit mystery and collect a reward at the end. It beings on March 30 and ends on April 15. Takes place between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

SWANAGE: An exciting Easter trail around Durlston Country Park is taking place for 2 weeks between 30th March and 15th April with a delicious prize to be won! Costs £3

BRANSGORE: Keep your little chicks entertained this Easter and join Avon Tyrell for their annual Easter Egg Trail. It takes place on Sunday, April 1, with the slots taking place at: 10am to 12pm, 11am to 1pm, 12pm to 2pm and 1pm to 3pm. Costs £5 for children and parents are free.

PURBECK: Inspired by the fantastical story of Alice in Wonderland, you can expect a whole host of fun Easter activities at Lulworth Castle from March 30 to April 2 between 10.30am and 5pm.

ST LEONARDS: An Easter egg hunt takes place at Avon Heath Country Park on Thursday, March 29. Visitors will be invited to solve clues to receive a chocolate egg prize. Takes place between 11am and 3pm. Costs £3 per trail sheet.

BOURNEMOUTH: From March 30 to April 15, children can take part in an Easter trail at Stour Valley Nature Reserve. Visitors will be able to follow the trail and solve clues for the chance to win a prize. There’s no need to book, just turn up. Entry costs £2 each.

QUEEN’S PARK: A full day of family fun will take place at the Woodpecker Café on Easter Sunday. Youngsters can have a go at creating their own Easter bonnets at the bonnet stall, there will also be face painting, a bouncy castle, an Easter egg hunt and an Easter bonnet and fancy dress parade. The Easter egg hunt starts from 12.30pm and costs £1.50 for children six and over and £1 for children aged under six. The bonnet stall costs 50p for all ages.

CORFE CASTLE: Little ones can hunt for a chocolate prize when a Cadbury Easter egg hunt takes place at Corfe Castle. The hunt takes place between 10.30am and 4.30pm on March 30 and 31 and April 1 and 2. There will also be crafts and games. Entry costs £2.50 per person and normal admission fees apply.

RINGWOOD: An Easter fun day event comes to The Furlong on Good Friday between 11am and 3pm. There will be a magic show and Easter craft station where youngsters can paint their own flower pots, make bunny masks and decorate eggs. There will also be homemade cakes and gifts on sale, plus an Easter egg hunt. The event is free.

POOLE: Join Poole Museum between March 31 and April 15 for an Easter chick treasure hunt. Find all the chicks hiding in the museum and claim your chocolate treat prize. Available during museum opening hours.

CHRISTCHURCH: Spend your Easter weekend at an Easter question trail through the beautiful grounds at Highcliffe Castle and the newly opened Rothesay park. Make your way through the ornate lawns and surrounding woodland answering questions with a sweet surprise at the end. Costs £2 per child. Takes place between March 30 and April 2.

BROCKENHURST: Enjoy a fun filled paddle along the Beaulieu River in stable 'Canadian style' canoes. Take in the stunning scenery of the river before disembarking for an Easter egg hunt with a twist! All taking place at the Old Forge in Brockenhurst between 31st March and 2nd April 13:30 to 15:30.
