A HOLIDAYMAKER was attacked during an incident in Swanage,

The incident is believed to have happened in Sentry Road sometime between midnight and 1am on Friday, June 22.

The victim, a 38-year-old man from Uxbridge who was on holiday with his family, had spent the evening in the town drinking when he was attacked shortly after he was ejected from The Snack Bar on High Street.

He sustained cuts above his left eye and the back of his head.

The victim does not recall how he sustained his injuries or who was responsible.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Constable Jeremy Cuff, of Weymouth CID, said: “From initial CCTV enquiries I know there were a number of people on High Street at the relevant time and I would urge anyone who may know who was responsible for this assault to please call me.”
