WOW! We'd almost forgotten about some of these!

These are some of the hundreds of stores that once lined our streets and were the destination for many of us as we went to go shopping.

They were all taken in Dorset in the 1960s and 1970s, so some of them would have been in Hampshire at the time.

Some of the shops pictured are in complexes, some on high streets and others slightly off the beaten track.

But wherever they've been taken, they'll no doubt spark memories of times spent perusing the shelve.
