A number of pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Gender - Male

Age - Eight years old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Colour - Tan and White

If you want to adopt Chase you can view their full profile here.

Chase was taken into the care of Ashley Heath through no fault of his own as sadly his owner was unable to meet his needs.

He is described as "charismatic" walks well on lead and knows his basic training which includes his name, sit, wait and paw.

Chase is not keen on being in close proximity with other dogs and does need to wear a muzzle on walks, but he can walk calmly past them.

He was suffering from a mild skin condition which is now much better and requires minimal treatment at this moment.

Cookie

Gender - Female

Age - Two years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Tabby

If you want to adopt Cookie you can view their full profile here.

Cookie came into the RSPCA centre when unfortunately her elderly owners were unable to look after her.

She hadn't been well socialised so can find new people and places very daunting at first.

However, when she does get to know people she enjoys being fussed over and can be quite sweet.

She is not to be rehomed within five miles of Portsmouth (PO4) and could maybe live with another friendly cat.

Tommy

He is described as "very affectionate" and is looking for a new home where he is the only pet.
