Dorset RSPCA: 5 pets who are looking for new homes

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

Chase

Gender - Male

Age - Eight years old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Colour - Tan and White

Chase was taken into the care of Ashley Heath through no fault of his own as sadly his owner was unable to meet his needs.

He is described as "charismatic", walks well on a lead and knows his basic training which includes his name, sit, wait and paw.

Chase is not keen on being in close proximity with other dogs and does need to wear a muzzle on walks but he can walk calmly past them.

He was suffering from a mild skin condition which is now much better and requires minimal treatment at this moment.

Hope and Miracle

Age - Two years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Black

Hope and Miracle are two cats who are looking to find a home together, as they both like to curl up on a bed side-by-side and reassure each other.

They may get used to another cat given the time and space, but no dogs. They could also live with children aged 13 years and above.

Additionally, they should not be rehomed within five miles of Fareham (PO16).

Paul

Age - One year old

Breed - Domestic

Colour - Brown and white

Paul originally came from a multi-animal household with many others and is now looking for a forever home.

Although a little nervous he is good to handle once caught and is getting braver each day at the centre.

Due to his long hair, he will require regular grooming to ensure his coat is maintained.

Paul has been neutered and would like to find a home where he can live with a female guinea pig.

Austin

Age - Six to 12 months old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Grey/White

Austin arrived at Ashley Heath after being abandoned by his previous owner and is now eager to find a loving new home.

He is described as "playful" and loves playing with his toys.

Austin is looking for a home where he may get used to another cat or even a calm, friendly dog who has lived with cats previously.

Additionally, he is not to be rehomed within five miles of High Wycombe (HP12).
