A TRIO of vintage motorcycles are being put up for auction.
The motorcycles, which have a combined age of over 300 years, have been entered into an auction by Charterhouse in Sherborne.
They will be displayed at the Charterhouse auction of vintage and classic motorcycles on at the Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset on March 7.
The eldest motorcycle is a 1918 Indian Powerplus at £30,000 to £35,000, followed by a 1919 Humber 6hp estimated at £15,000 to £20,000, and finally a 1921 Rover Imperial at £20,000 to £22,000.
The bikes are described as being in “mint condition” and “ready to ride”.
George Beale, at Charterhouse, said: “The West Country owner is thinning down his collection.
“He has been an enthusiastic collector, rider and restorer over the years and a keen VMCC member for decades.”
Charterhouse is now accepting further entries for their specialist auctions of classic motorcycles and classic cars in March, with silver, jewellery and watches in February.
