Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

Flare

Flare is described as an "energetic lad" who is very eager to meet dogs and people alike.
Sadly Flare had been neglected before coming into the care of the RSPCA which meant he had poor socialisation.
It would be best for him to go to a home without other animals as he can be a bit boisterous with other dogs and would likely chase after a cat.
Flare may be able to be left for short periods once settled in and would benefit from continued dog socialisation and training classes.
He will need access to a secure garden and plenty of mentally stimulating activities such as enrichment feeders and training activities.
Clara

Clara arrived in the care of the RSPCA after her owner sadly passed away and she is now ready to find a new home.
At first, she took a bit of time to settle into the cattery but now enjoys the company of the staff and being groomed.
She may get used to living with another cat given time, but no dogs.
Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of the BH15 postcode.
Dexter

Dexter arrived in the care of the RSPCA after being picked up as a stray and is now looking for a new home.
He eventually got used to the cattery environment but can still be a bit wary.
Ashley Heath adds: "When spending time with Dexter, he can get over the top and has nipped. At times, this can be very hard. He will be looking for owners that are confident with bold characters, not suitable for first-time cat owners."
Dexter would suit a pet-free home, where he can have all the space to settle.
Crumble and Custard
Gender - Not stated on the profile
Age - Three years old (approx.)
Breed - Crossbreed
Colour - White and Tan

Crumble and Custard came into the care of Ashley Heath due to a change in circumstances with their owners.
They are described as "sweet rabbits" who will happily take food from your hand.
Due to their long fur, they will need grooming regularly and they are aiming to find a home together.
Crumble and Custard have lived as indoor rabbits but may be able to be introduced to living outside.
