LITTLEDOWN leisure centre will reopen today after it was temporarily closed for work.
Operators BH Live had to close the centre to visitors today to repair a damaged water main.
But now it will reopen at 3.30pm on Wednesday, May 1.
Rob Cunningham, director of leisure and business development, said: “A big thank you to our customers for their patience and understanding while a nearby water mains issue was investigated.
“We have been advised that we can reopen later on this afternoon and all activities are expected to resume as scheduled. If customers have any questions, please come and speak with the team in centre once it has reopened.”
Classes, lessons and activities have been cancelled while specialist contractors identify the extent of the damage and carry out repairs.
The main car park at Littledown Centre will remain open as usual.
