GUY Brian Sheila Guy and all the family of the late Brian Raymond Guy of Swanage would like to say a big Thank You to everyone that attended his recent Funeral Service at Poole Crematorium and those that came to the Royal British Legion Swanage after. It was a wonderful service and a real celebration of his amazing life all brought together with the help of James Smith Funeral Directors, the Royal Engineers, the Royal British Legion, the Normandy Veterans Association and Neil McCain Celebrant. We would also like to say a special Thank You to his doctor and staff at the Swanage Medical Practice for the wonderful care they gave Dad, the amazing paramedics and the lovely staff, doctors and consultants at Poole Hospital. BLESMA, The Limbless Veterans, were extremely kind and helpful as well as the Blind Veterans and Purbeck Social Services were excellent. Brian had first class care and support, which was a great comfort for Sheila and the family. Being disabled, Brian's computer was his lifeline, writing on Facebook as well as numerous sites all over the world and we didn't realise quite how 'famous' he was until hundreds of tributes came pouring in. He will be greatly missed, but was a true legend!
