Temporary Closure of B3069, High Street, Langton Matravers
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the B3069, HIGH STREET, LANGTON MATRAVERS, (in both directions), in the vicinity of St George's First School for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The Order is needed to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 August 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the road will be reopened by Wednesday 12 August 2020. This Order will enable Dorset Council to construct a raised table and build-outs on the highway to enable children to cross safely between the school and the playing fields.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Raised Table - High Street, Langton Matravers
Under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 Dorset Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to install a raised table in High Street, Langton Matravers. The raised table will be constructed to the Department for Transport specification. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, it is not possible for Dorset Council to have documents on deposit for people to view at County Hall. Temporary Closure of West Mill Crescent, Wareham And Public Footpath Se2/5, Wareham
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along West Mill Crescent, Wareham (in both directions) between Wessex Oval and West Mill Crescent, a distance of approximately 75 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 20 July 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 07 August 2020.
This order will allow Power Systems UKto carry out directional drilling works from the carriageway southwards, under Public Footpath SE2/5, into the fields beyond to provide ducting for a high voltage electricity cable.
Please note that it is proposed that Public Footpath SE2/5 will also be closed at the same time.
Alternative vehicular routes will be indicated by the traffic signs on site. There will not be a signed alternative route for the footpath closure.
