James Arthur brought his Bitter Sweet Love World Tour to a packed Bournemouth International Centre.

IT WAS very early doors at the Bournemouth International Centre as Bring Me The Horizon brought their massive stage production to the venue.

I HAVE some friends who will only go and see a band once as when you have seen them why go to see them again.

Touring in support of her latest album The Fifth Chapter Beverly Knight arrived at the Bournemouth Pavilion and proceeded to blow the roof off the place. The award winning singer, songwriter and actress has a voice that effortlessly flows between soul, gospel and blues and takes the sold out venue with her every second of tonight’s gig.

It’s been 40 years since the release of their seminal album Luxury Gap and Heaven 17 are out on tour to celebrate.

Haircut 100 O2 Bournemouth Despite the miserable weather a sizeable crowd made it out to the O2 to see not just Haircut 100 but also the excellent Barbara who are support for this tour.

It took a while, but Mr Sutherland finally made it back to the O2 in Bournemouth and it turned out to be well worth the wait. Even more so as this time around he was accompanied by the wonderful Sari Schorr.

20230613 Ocean Alley O2 Boscombe I have seen some great bands recently and tonight I was lucky enough to be able to add Ocean Alley to that list. The multi-platinum selling Australian band are here in the UK touring their excellent 2022 Low Altitude Living album and drew an enthusiastic crowd to the O2. We may be half a world away from Bondi beach but with this wonderful weather and the laid-back sounds coming off the stage you could shut your eyes and almost be there.

When you see a couple of hundred bands a year in every type of venue from arenas, festivals and small clubs it’s always nice to catch a band that you have not heard of before and have them immediately blow you away.

AFTER a long weekend at a rock festival tonight was exactly what I needed.
