A HENDRIX-STYLE blues guitarist with the record for the highest number of encores at the Cambridge Rock Festival is playing at the Tivoli Theatre on September.
Larry Miller is most famous for his mesmerising guitar playing and rip roaring shows in the UK and around Europe, bringing his unique energy to every performance.
He holds the record for the most encores at The Cambridge Rock Festival and returns to Central Studio by very popular demand following his sell-out show last year.
Larry Miller’s band features an experienced, powerful driving rhythm section, so fans of Rory Gallagher, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Moore, Walter Trout or Hendrix will not be disappointed. Larry has released seven albums, all of which have had critical acclaim.
The latest, On the Edge, is full of intense passion, power, and exciting guitar playing with both rockers and ballads.
The album was voted in the top albums of 2012 by publications including Classic Rock Presents The Blues and Guitar And Bass Magazine. He will play songs from the critically-acclaimed Live & Outlawed album, which captures his incredible live performance, songs from On The Edge and his studio album back catalogue.
Support on the night comes from Timeshel, already a well-known name on the rock circuit in Southampton. Timshel have been honing their bluesy brand of rock ‘n’ roll for a while now but since being rejoined by Rob Litten on drums they have really found their groove.
