BOURNEMOUTH is in for a special treat after this evening's fireworks, as one of the founding fathers of the British house music scene graces the Pier for a night of acid-infused deep house and underground rhythms.
Danny Rampling is arguably one of the most influential DJs of our generation. Boasting a career of more than 30 years, he retains his crown of one of the early pioneers of house music. His impressive CV includes his famous BBC Radio One show, the Love Grove Dance Party, which ran on air from 1994 – 2002 and he wore the title of the World’s Number One DJ by DJ Magazine in 1991.
The line up also includes local heroes DJ Jethro Watson (Bestival, Pool Party, Krafted, Tech Box) and DJ Tim Byham (Halo, Pool Party, Paradise Beach).
The Pier Sessions party takes place at Key West at the end of Bournemouth Pier from 11pm to 3am. The weekly August fireworks start at 10pm. General admission tickets are £10 online and VIP tickets are £20.
