HE started out as just a regular actor, but early roles in musicals swiftly catapulted Michael Ball to a level of stardom he could never have dreamt of.

With the cream of West End and Broadway shows under his belt, a string of hit records and a career on the side as a radio and TV presenter, Ball seems to have it all.

Now the multi-platinum recording artist has announced a 21-date UK tour - including a date in Bournemouth - to support his forthcoming studio album Coming Home To You which is set for release in 2019.

The double Olivier Award winner will hit the road in April 2019 until the end of May next year. Tickets go on sale on December 7 at 9am at LiveNation.co.uk.

Ball has starred in everything from Les Miserable and Phantom of the Opera, to Aspects of Love and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Although different shows bring their own specific demands, Michael Ball says he’s happy to adapt.

“The thrill of singing in front of a live audience, whether in a musical or a concert, is the best buzz you can get.”

Having received critical acclaim for his performances in the West End and on Broadway, the radio and TV host has since sold millions of albums and toured multiple continents across the world.

The Classic BRIT Award winner’s album Together with Alfie Boe was Christmas Number 1 in 2016 and their second album Together Again in 2017 went straight to number one, boasting combined sales of more than 1 million copies.

Michael brings his tour Coming Home to You to the BIC on May 15. For more details see LiveNation.co.uk.
