FANS of Tears for Fears will finally get to hear their idols perform in Bournemouth next week.

The pop rock duo were formed in Bath in 1981 and achieved international success throughout the 1980s with hit songs such as Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Now their UK arena 2018 tour which was postponed “due to unforeseen health concerns”, has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 7 at the BIC.

The pop rock duo took the measure on “doctor’s orders”, less than ten days before the tour was due to start.

Tickets for 2018 remain valid for the BIC show next Thursday,

Over the past few months the band have been finishing material for their first new album in 14 years.

Having sold 30 million albums worldwide, performed to countless sold out audiences, and won various awards, Tears For Fears – Roland Orzabal [vocals, guitar, keyboards] and Curt Smith [vocals, bass, keyboards] have a catalogue of classic albums namely the gold-certified debut The Hurting, quintuple-platinum Brit Award-winning Songs from the Big Chair, and Seeds of Love and a string of hits, including classics such as Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Shout, Mad World, Head Over Heels, Woman In Chains.

The duo will be joined by Alison Moyet for their BIC show.
