May 4, The Darkness. Their debut album charted at number 1 and went on to sell over 1.5million copies, making them household names. They’ve headlined Reading and Leeds Festival as well as selling out venues across the country and now we welcome them to Teddy Rocks.

May 5, The Zutons. After an eight year hiatus the Liverpudlian rock band are back. Their debut album sold over 600,000 copies in the UK, spawning hits such as You Will, You Won’t and Pressure Point. Following on from their debut the band released Valerie as a single, which was subsequently covered by Amy Winehouse, and became one of the biggest songs of this millennium.

The festival is named after Ted Newton, who died aged 10 from a rare bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma.
