THE VAMPS are coming to Bournemouth this weekend on their 2019 UK and Ireland tour. The boyband will headline the BIC on Saturday, June 1 as part of their Four Corners Tour.

Their show will be in support of their number one album Night & Day which features singles All Night and Personal, as well as collaborations with Sabrina Carpenter and Machine Gun Kelly.

In an earlier interview they promised their new music will mark a change in direction from what fans have heard before, having co-produced and co-written the tracks themselves.

All in their mid-20s, the foursome – Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans – said they were “excited” about EP Missing You and their visit to Bournemouth.

Vocalist and guitarist Simpson said: “It feels a lot more personal and more of a true representation of us as artists than anything else before.”

Drummer Evans said: “These songs are our babies as well, we’ve been working on them for a year and a half, two years some of them, so it’s such a good feeling. Even since the first album as well, we’ve been writing and producing. People just presume we’re not involved but we’re so involved, it’s crazy. The new music sounds cool as well, it’s really cool to play. It’s just different.”

Since their debut the group have supported global stars Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez on their world tours, headlined dates across America and won four BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.

The Vamps will be joined on the tour by special guests Denis Coleman, a 16 year-old pop artist, pop rock trio New Hope Club and rising star HRVY. The Vamps are on from 8.55pm. Tickets from £15.To book, visit bhlivetickets.co.uk
