A SHOW of pure nostalgia is heading to Christchurch to coincide with the 75th anniversary of D Day.

The Glad Rag Production Company are proud to present Keep Smiling Through a commemorative production marking the anniversary of the D-day landings.

The cast will transport audiences back to the 1940’s, performing wartime favourites such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Underneath the Arches and The Lambeth Walk.

With pieces on evacuation, the armed forces and even a pub sing-along, this wartime spectacle will present lots of aspects of the war in an all singing, all dancing celebration that is sure to get you In the Mood.

The company will pay tribute to this country’s rich history with beautiful music, dancing and British nostalgia and is inviting audiences to join them at the Regent Centre from June 6 to 8 to sing a-long, wave a flag and help celebrate what it means to be British. We will remember them.

The show will feature vintage vocal harmony trio The Bluestockings, a vintage 1940s & 1950s-inspired vocal trio, combining the tight harmonies of a bygone era with sassy choreography and a swinging style.

With guest vocals from Andrew James, this foursome are the perfect choice for an audience of all ages.

All four members of the Bluestockings have performed previously with the Glad Rag Production Company in various productions over the past eight years and are delighted to be joining forces with them to help commemorate this historic anniversary in style.

Tickets for the show are priced from £14, available from the Regent Centre box office online at regentcentre.co.uk or by calling 01202 499199.
