THAT’LL BE THE DAY

Weymouth Pavilion

THEY just keep going, this fantastic rock ‘n roll show has been bringing love and laughter to town for more than 30 years and they raise the roof every time they come.

This time it starts with back to the future as the group briefly recreate the famous movie as they start the show in 1955 and the dawn of pop music.

Soon the touring team are taking the audience back to Radio Luxembourg with The Everly Brothers, Diana Ross, The Four Seasons and Elvis in a non-stop feast of hits of the past in which even Roy Orbison gets a brief look-in, thanks to Gary who never gives up trying to sing Pretty Woman.

As the years go by, the pop hits are rolled out by the talented cast headed by Trevor Payne whose portrayal of the Lone Ranger brings down the house, not to mention his regular hilarious appearance as Mick Jagger, naughty but nice.

And what is Ken Dodd doing on a pop show? We are reminded that the lovable late comedian topped the hit parade long ago with his rendering of Tears and Gary brings him back to life both in song and with a sensational comic routine, a brilliant performance

Cliff Richard, Michael Jackson and the Beatles, they all get the audience rocking and rolling in this non-stop tribute show that will be back in Weymouth on November 20 with a brand new Christmas Party production, be there, you will love it.
