CALLING all would-be thespians. Now is your chance to tread the boards in a classic comedy drama at the Regent Centre in Christchurch.

Following Regent Rep’s success with Agatha Christie’s, And Then There Were None in October 2017, the centre’s in-house theatre company is returning with another classic of the British stage, One Man, Two Guvnors.

Set In Brighton in 1963, an out-of-work skiffle player, Francis Henshall, manages to become separately employed by two men – Roscoe Crabbe, a notorious gangster and Stanley Stubbers, an upper class criminal. Francis tries desperately to keep the two master criminals from meeting, because neither of them would take kindly if they discovered that he was also working for a local rival...

One Man, Two Guvnors opens at the Regent, from Thursday, October 3 – Saturday, October 5 at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. There are a number of opportunities to join this production ranging from the female and male leads, to major supporting roles and an ensemble of party guests, porters, waiters and several crucial minor roles.
