BRITISH Blues veteran Norman Beaker and his band have chosen the Tivoli in Wimborne to record a new live album.
A theatre spokesman said: “Be sure you will be there to support and participate, in what is sure to be a great night.”
In January 2017 Manchester musician Norman Beaker became only the eighth 21st-century British artist to be officially recognised and inducted into the American Blues Hall of Fame, joining ranks with his colleagues John Mayall, Jack Bruce, Peter Green, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.
It was recognition long in coming, but a richly-deserved honour to a man who has honoured the blues throughout his life.
