THE award-winning Highcliffe Charity Players are holding open auditions for their forthcoming pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk, which they are presenting at the Regent Centre, Christchurch from January 18-25 in 2020.
An HCP spokesman said: “It’s 15 years since we last performed this thrilling tale of adventure, which sees Jack climbing a magic beanstalk to find a mysterious land in the clouds and riches beyond his wildest dreams, but ruled over by a terrifying, hungry giant! With the classic panto ingredients of an outrageous dame, slapstick comedy and a dusting of local humour, this promises to be a fun production to be part of.”
If you are interested in auditioning, the panto read through is on Sunday, October 13 at 3pm followed by open auditions on Tuesday, November 5 at 7.30pm, both taking place at St Mark’s Hall, Hinton Wood Avenue, Highcliffe. (Age 14+)
* The auditions follow immediately after HCP’s current production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, which can be seen at the Regent Centre from October 30 to November 2.
