Coastguard crews were called to assist with airlifting a person to hospital in Purbeck.
The casualty fell near Worbarrow Tout and had a suspected broken ankle.
Teams from Lulworth, Kimmeridge and Wyke were called to assist South Western Ambulance Service.
The incident happened around 4.20pm on Sunday, March 25.
A spokesman for Kimmeridge Coastguard said: "On return from a routine patrol and having thoroughly cleaned the vehicle a call came in to proceed to Worbarrow Bay and provide assistance to a casualty that had unfortunately sustained a possible ankle fracture.
"Back up was provided by our Lulworth Coastguard colleagues and ambulance.
"After assessing the difficult terrain where the casualty was and the nature of the injury we called upon a helicopter abstraction."
They also praised the work of everyone involved and wished the casualty, who was taken to Dorset County Hospital, a speedy recovery.
