BRACE yourselves. Temperatures are set to take a tumble later this week.

Today and tomorrow will see highs of around 15C with sunny intervals.

However, Thursday and Friday will see sunshine replaced with cloud and highs of 11C.

By Saturday, the Met Office is predicting a high of 9C with a ‘feels like’ temperature of just 5C.

Sunday will remain chilly with temperatures feeling no warmer than minus -1C in the early hours and it will feel like just 6C during the day.

Some parts of northern Britain could see snow this weekend on higher ground.

It will come as a complete contrast to last weekend when highs of 19C were recorded.

Local forecaster Dorset Snow said: “Looks like there is finally something colder on the horizon, a brief cool snap now looking likely late next week. Northerly winds from Friday should deliver us our first widespread frost of the season. Any wintry precipitation likely to be confined to higher ground in the north.”
