FIREWORKS will light up the skies over the next few weeks with a host of organised displays taking place across Dorset and the New Forest.

Here’s your guide to what’s on where.

1. Bournemouth’s biggest fireworks party will take place at the Littledown Centre on Saturday, November 3. The event boasts three displays including the White Knuckle in what is billed as the region’s loudest. Gates open at 5.30pm with fireworks displays at 7pm, 8pm and the White Knuckle at 9pm. Early bird tickets are priced £20 for a family, £6.50 for adults and £4 for children until October 28. Or £7 for adults and £4.50 for children from October 29.

2. The Chapel Gate Hallowe'en Spectacular is being held on Saturday (October 27). Gates open at 5pm and onsite there will be a funfair, entertainment, a spooky woodland walk and fancy dress parade with a firework finale set to music at 8pm. Tickets cost £4 for children, £6 for adults or £17.50 for a family ticket, plus booking fee.

3. Ringwood's bonfire and firework display is back with a bang at Carvers Recreation Ground on Sunday, November 4. Gates open at 3.30pm with live entertainment from 3.45pm. At 5pm, there will be a quieter firework display for youngsters who don't like loud noises before the bonfire is lit at 6pm with the main display being held at 7pm. There will also be a funfair, bar and food stalls. Advance tickets cost £1.50 or £2.50 on the gate. Entry is free for preschool age children.

4. Broadstone Middle School is holding a display on Saturday (October 27). Gates open at 5.30pm and family entertainment includes a fire performer, music, rides, a bouncy castle and competitions with fireworks at 7.30pm. Tickets bought before October 26 cost £3.50 for adults and £2 for children or £5 for adults and £3 for children on the gate.

5. St Katharine's C.E. Primary School's 'Fabulous Family Fireworks' will go off on Thursday, November 1. Gates open at 5.30pm with entertainment from Jamie Jambo and Simon Chainey before fireworks at 7pm. There will also be a bar, BBQ and refreshments. Advance tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children or £5 for adults and £3 for children at the gate.

6. A free firework display comes to Poole Quay on Monday, November 5. The fun starts at 5pm with street entertainers, jugglers, fire performances and live music followed by fireworks over the water at 8pm.

7. Butchers Coppice Family Fireworks Display and Bonfire returns on Saturday, November 3. Gates open at 5.30pm with the fire lit at 6pm before a guy competition at 7pm. The event will finish with a spectacular fireworks display at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £4 for adults, £2 for children or £8 for families until November 2 or £10 for families, £5 for adults and £2.50 on the day.

8. East Dorset Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club's annual bonfire and firework extravaganza takes place on Saturday, November 3. Gates open at 5pm with the bonfire lit at 6pm. There will be a bouncy castle, fireworks and a bar. Entry costs £6 for adults, £4 for children and £16 for families.

9. Beaulieu's 'Fireworks Spectacular' takes on a ‘Back to the 80s’ theme on Saturday (October 27). The 25-minute display will be accompanied by a playlist of 1980s music and will be presented by Wave 105’s Rick Jackson and Michael Coombes. There will also be traditional fairground rides and live music from Kevin 17. Entry opens at 3pm and admission costs £14.50 for adults, £9 for children and £42 for families.

10. Stourfield Junior School will hold two firework displays on Saturday, November 3, from 5.30pm. There will be a quieter early evening version for small children ahead of a main display later on. Plus fairground rides, hot food and live music. Early bird tickets cost £2.50 for children, £4.50 for adults and £12 for families or £3 for children, £5 for adults and £15 for families on the night.

11. Sherborne Castle will be illuminated by fireworks on Saturday, November 3. Gates open at 5pm with the bonfire at 7pm before fireworks at 7.30pm.

12. Wareham's 'Monster Bonfire & Fireworks' spectacular is being held at Swanage and Wareham RFC on Friday, November 2. From 6pm, there will be live music, food stalls, a bar, funfair and BBQ.

13. The fifth annual New Milton Round Table Charity Fireworks takes place Fawcetts Field on Saturday, November 10. The bonfire is lit at 7pm with the fireworks at 7.30pm.

14. The Christchurch Community Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular returns to Stanpit Recreation Ground on Saturday, November 3. Gates open at 5pm with judging for the guy competition at 5.30pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm followed by fireworks at 7.45pm. Entry costs £7 for adults, £4 for children and £18 for families.
