DETECTIVES investigating a series of linked burglaries across Bournemouth, Poole and Purbeck are hoping to reunite victims with their stolen jewellery. The six burglaries took place between Wednesday, October 17, and Tuesday 23. Properties in Guest Avenue in Poole, Wick Lane and Castle Lane West in Bournemouth and Miles Avenue and Filleul Road in Purbeck were targeted.

Dima-Adrian Angheluta, aged 33 and from Bournemouth, was arrested and charged in connection with the incidents and a quantity of jewellery has been recovered. He entered guilty pleas to six counts of burglary and is due to be sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, November 23.

Members of the public are being asked to identify the items of recovered jewellery.

The owners of some of the jewellery have not been identified and images of these items have been posted on the Dorset Police Priority Crime Team Flickr page at www.flickr.com/photos/dorsetpolice/sets/72157673444847877.

Detective Constable Andrew Burley, of the PCT, said: “We are encouraging any members of the public who have had jewellery stolen or missing to visit the page and see if they can identify any of the items.

“We will be looking to use the page to post images of further items that are recovered during our investigations.”

Detectives are also issuing images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their ongoing investigation.

DC Burley said: “I would urge anyone with information regarding this man’s identity to contact us.”
