A MAN was taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on the A35 this morning.
Police were called to the junction with Bloxworth at 6.37am.
The crash involved a red Peugeot 107 with reports the driver was trapped in the vehicle which had ended up on its side.
Firefighters from Poole used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the driver.
Officers put road closures in place at Morden Park Corner and Woodbury Cross.
South Western Ambulance Service said they were called to the scene at 6.29am.
They attended with one ambulance and two operations officers.
The road closures were lifted just before 8am.
