1 An Easter Trail is taking place at Bournemouth's Kingfisher Barn everyday between 11am and 3pm until April 21. Visitors must solve the clues to find the Easter Bunny's hiding place and then collect a prize. Costs £2.50 per person and the trail is suitable for children aged three and over.

2 Follow an Easter trail at Hengistbury Head on April 20 and April 21, and collect letters to reveal a missing word for the chance to win a prize. Takes place between 10am and 3.30pm. Costs £3 per child.

3 Young explorers are invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt at Carvers Play Area in Ringwood at 11am on April 18. The hunt is free and suitable for toddlers and older children. Little ones can also do Easter crafts from 10am and there may be a small charge.

4 The Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton in East Overcliff will be holding an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday between 3pm and 5pm. Children's entertainer Jamie Jambo will be keeping little ones entertained from 3pm. Tickets cost £6 per child and includes a drink and Easter egg for the children. The event is being held in support of the Poole Hospital Charity. Booking is essential.

5 A Cadbury Easter egg hunt runs at Corfe Castle until April 22. Between 10am and 5pm each day, youngsters will be able to explore the hidden places of the medieval ruins to complete the activities and claim a chocolatey treat. Costs £2.50. There are also Cadbury hunts at the National Trust sites in Kingston Lacy from 10am and 4pm and at Studland between 10.30am and 3.30pm on the same dates.

6 There will be fun for all the family at East Christchurch Sports and Social Club in Christchurch on Easter Sunday. At 1pm, there will be an Easter egg hunt, followed by a children's colouring competition at 1.30pm and an egg and spoon race for children and adults at 2pm. Then at 3.15pm, there will be an Easter raffle draw.

7 The Easter bunny will be leaving hundreds of eggs in the field each day over the Easter weekend at Farmer Palmers. The hunts take place at 2.30pm each day and there's no extra charge in addition to normal admission. Visitors will also be able to see a host of baby animals including Pygmy goats, lambs and chicks.

8 Scour Brownsea Island for Cadbury Easter eggs over the Easter weekend between 10am and 4pm each day. Visitors will also have the chance to join in with games and have a go at Easter crafts. Costs £2.50 plus usual admission.

9 Easter fun comes to Lulworth Castle between Good Friday and Easter Monday. Each day between 10.30am and 5pm, there will be Alice in Wonderland themed activities including trails, Easter egg hunts, a bouncy castle and more. Tickets include free parking and cost £8 for adults, £6 for children and entry is free for under 4s.

10 Avon Tyrell in Bransgore will be holding an Easter activity trail on Easter Sunday. Sessions take place between 10am and 12pm, 11am and 1pm, 12pm and 2pm and 1pm and 3pm. Entry costs £6 per person and booking is essential. Visitors can enjoy Easter themed activities, an egg drop, adventure course, bouldering, archery and pedalos.

11 An Easter egg trail is being held as part of AFC Bournemouth's annual Food & Craft Fayre on Easter Monday. The fayre will begin at 11am and end at 4pm, with plenty of arts and crafts on sale, as well as some of Dorset’s finest produce. Entry is free.

12 Look for Easter eggs throughout Poole on Easter Saturday. Poole’s Business Improvement District (BID) is hosting a series of Easter activities in the town centre from 10am until 4pm.

13 Take a tour of Christchurch's historical landmarks during the Regent Centre's Easter trail. The trial runs daily until April 21 and costs £2 per game. Maps can be collected from the Regent Centre's box office and families will be invited to answer questions based on what is around them. The trail takes around 40 minutes to complete.

14 Hop along to Poole Museum to find the hidden bunnies in the cases. Complete the trail to collect your chocolate prize. The trail runs between between 10am and 4pm until April 22.

15 Highcliffe Castle's outdoor trail runs from April 18 to 22 between 10am and 4pm each day. Costs £2 per child.
