DORSET Police are appealing for help from the public in their search for missing Bere Regis man, Danny Green.

Police received a call at 3.56pm on Monday, reporting concern for the welfare of Danny Green, aged 33, who was believed to have been in the Lulworth or Swanage areas of Purbeck.

Danny is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and of small build with black glasses and short brown hair. He is possibly wearing jeans and a T-shirt as well as black boots without the laces.

Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Danny has been very upset recently and we are keen to locate him as soon as possible.

“We have carried out extensive searches in the Purbeck area, with support from DorSAR (Dorset Search and Rescue) and the NPAS helicopter. I am appealing for anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching his description, to contact us.

“We are also making efforts to trace Danny’s car, a Vauxhall Astra coupe with the registration number LC02 SXE, as it was not at his home address and I would urge anyone who comes across this vehicle to please get in touch.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Danny’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at, via email or by calling 101, quoting incident number 22:321.
