THE SPRINGFIELD Country Hotel near Wareham has been put up for sale.
The hotel, which has 60 en-suite bedrooms, 12 conference and function rooms and four restaurants is on the market for £4.5 million.
Agents Christie & Co say the building, which dates back to 1929, is set in a six-acre plot and has a 120-seater restaurant, a heated outdoor pool, pump house and one tennis court.
The Hotel's leisure club currently has 400 members with potential to expand to 1,000 and the hotel's net turnover was more than £1.5 million last year.
Christie & Co said: "The current owners have owned and operated the hotel since 1968, during which time the property has been extensively refurbished and extended, and now operating as a highly successful full-service hotel and leisure club."
