A BODY found in the water off the coast of Swanage in May has been identified as missing Bournemouth man Jaroslaw Sajur, police said today.
Mr Sajur, who was 35, was last seen at his home in Wellington Road at around 9pm on Thursday, May 2.
His jacket and bag were found on the beach at the East Cliff zigzag the following day by a member of the public who returned the items to his home address. He was then reported missing.
On Thursday, May 23, a vessel found a body in the sea near Swanage.
The body was recovered. A formal identification process has now taken place.
Inspector Danny Thompson, of North Bournemouth police, said: “We have continued to update keep Jaroslaw’s family updated and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
