DANCING LEDGE: The coastguard were called to Dancing Ledge on Saturday following reports of a group coasteering in rough conditions.
After the patrol arrived it issued some safety advice to the coasteers regarding the sea conditions.
Later in the weekend they dealt with a man on the pier at Swanage who had a fishing hook in their finger and on Sunday were called to Studland following calls that a boat was in distress.
"On arrival the team searched the beach area and located a boat owner who confirmed a fault with their radio which triggered the alarm," said a spokesman. "Advice was given on drying the radio out before using it again and the patrol were released to return to the station."
