THE 2019 Bournemouth Air Festival takes off tomorrow.

Once again all eyes will be on the all-important weather forecast.

We'll try to keep you as informed as possible about how the weather might affect the flying schedule.

The good news is at the moment conditions are looking largely pretty good, however, the odd shower can’t be ruled out.

According to the Met Office, Thursday will be sunny changing to cloudy by lunchtime with highs of 19C.

While Friday and Saturday will see sunny intervals with varying amounts of cloud.

Sunday will be sunny changing to cloudy by lunchtime.

Local forecaster DorsetSun said: “Staying mostly dry with average or just below average temps (highs of 19-21c) the odd shower not ruled out, but generally pretty good with sunny spells.”

Fellow forecaster Bournemouth & Poole Weather said: “At moment it doesn’t look too bad, while unsurprisingly not as hot as currently it looks dry - importantly looks as though low cloud shouldn’t be a problem.”

According to Met Check, cloud cover will be around 20 per cent on Thursday, 72 per cent at around midday on Friday and 100 per cent at around 3pm on Saturday with "intermittent rain" forecast.

There's currently no cloud cover issues for Sunday.

However, looking further ahead, those hoping there's another heatwave on the horizon will be disappointed into early September.

Forecaster WessexWeather said yesterday that "by the end of August into early September it will feel very autumnal with temperatures below average".
