A DRUG driver caught twice in just over a fortnight has lost her licence for three years.
Kerry Campbell, who lives in Blind Lane, Wimborne, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week to admit three counts of drug driving.
The court heard she was first caught behind the wheel of her Toyota Yaris in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth on April 11 this year. She had 2.7 micrograms of THC, the primary psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, per litre of her blood.
The limit is two.
Campbell, 34, was then caught once again driving her Yaris in Blandford Road, Corfe Mullen. Once again, she was under the influence of drugs.
Further tests revealed she had 358 micrograms of cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine – the limit is 50 micrograms – and 3.7 micrograms of THC in her blood.
She was fined a total of £120 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. In addition, she was banned from driving.
