A WEATHER warning for fog is in place for parts of Dorset tomorrow morning.

Dense fog and freezing fog patches during the morning are likely and could cause travel disruption, the Met Office said. They have issued the yellow warning - meaning 'be prepared' - for parts of Dorset including Dorchester.

The warning is in place from 4am - 11am, with drivers being advised to expect slower journey times. Delays to bus and train services could also affect residents.

The Met Office is issuing advice for driving in foggy conditions. To keep risk to a minimum, avoid travel if possible - but if you must drive, proceed very slowly with dipped headlights.

Watch out for freezing fog which is caused when water droplets come into contact with the road and quickly form a layer of ice.
