A POPULAR country pub in Wimborne has now reopened its doors following a major refurbishment.

The Lambs Green Inn, part of the Vintage Inns collection, is described as “oozing rural charm and rustic character with the picturesque surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for savouring its extensive menu, which it hopes will excite guests and encourage them to while away many hours in their cosy surroundings”.

Diana Stephens, landlord of the Lambs Green Inn in Lambs Green Lane said: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.

“The Lambs Green Inn has been part of the Corfe Mullen community for 40 years and is full of history, having once been Lambs Green Farm producing a mixture of diary, fruit and vegetable products.

“We hope that added features such as our new bi-folding doors which open onto our newly landscaped garden will be loved by all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers.”

Visitors to the Lambs Green Inn can enjoy the pub throughout the year, whether they’re relaxing in front of their roaring fires in winter or making the most of the long summer nights in their outdoor dining area.

They can also sample the amazing selection of gins, ales and wines on offer behind the bar and try out some of the freshly prepared dishes from their menu.

A significant investment has seen the pub undergo an extensive remodel and the Lambs Green Inn hopes that the new look is a welcome change in Corfe Mullen.

The Lambs Green Inn reopens with an extensive food offering, certain to tickle the taste buds of guests, with dishes including slow-cooked pork belly with black pudding mash, crispy crackling, baby spinach, green beans and a brandy and pink lady apple jus.
