A world-renowned Islamic scholar is coming to East Lancashire tonight as part of a UK tour.

Shaykh Faisal Hamid Abdur-Razak, from Toronto, Canada, is visiting the UK as part of his 'Journey to Allah' tour.

Shaykh, who is also the President of The Islamic Forum of Canada has delivered keynote speeches in the USA, England, Germany, Norway, India, Malaysia, Barbados, and many more countries.

In 2017 he was granted the Global Islamic Personality award and recognised as The Most Prominent Islamic Spirituality Scholar.

Holding various notable positions, including being a member of the Canadian Multifaith Federation, when he's not teaching he's involved in counselling, interfaith work and building communities.

He's known for his approachable nature and genuine concern for humanity.

The tour, which will concentrate on the Infinite Grace of the Prophet, is free to attend and open to all.

Shaykh will appear at the Raza Jamia Mosque in Accrington at 7.15pm.

On Saturday December 7 he will be in Manchester at the Guidance Hub, M8 9AB, from 7.30pm.
