AN INJURED man has been cut from a vehicle that crashed into a tree on the A35 this morning.
The road was closed both ways at Morden Park Corner.
Flooing on the highway saw the road remain closed after the wreckage was cleared.
It reopened just after 10am.
Police said they were called to reports of a single vehicle crash near Bloxworth at 5.25am.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Officers attended, along with the ambulance and fire services as it was reported that the occupant was trapped in the vehicle."
The fire service assisted with freeing a man from the vehicle.
The man is being treated by the ambulance service for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The spokesperson added: "Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to deal with the incident."
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the scene at 5.29am.
Crews from Poole and Bere Regis attended.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Crews extricated a male casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment and left him with paramedics."
