MARGARET Green Animal Rescue has received a donation of cleaning products to 'spruce up' its charity shops.

The animal charity, which has a centre at Church Knowle, near Corfe Castle, and shops at Kinson, Winton and Wimborne, was selected by Zoflora to take part in its 'Big Clean Up' campaign.

Zoflora donated a large supply of its fresh home odour remover and disinfectant, to help the team spruce up the shops and maintain a clean and inviting environment for all of the customers.

Margaret Green fundraising and marketing manager Jazmin House said: “The sale of goods from our fantastic charity shops goes towards the care of over 1,200 animals each year, allowing us to continue to uphold our key values of rescue, care, rehome and support.

"At our rescue centres, we pride ourselves on the standard of care each rescue pet receives, ensuring they lead the best possible life whilst we find their 'forever home’.

To keep up with the ever-increasing demand for help, we rely solely on the generosity of our brilliant charity shops, supporters and volunteers. We are tremendously grateful for the generous donation Zoflora has supplied and we are delighted to have taken part in their Clean-Up initiative.”

The ‘Big Clean Up’ campaign is part of a nationwide initiative from Zoflora, which reaches out to communities and worthwhile causes.
