POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing Swanage man who may have travelled to the Bournemouth area.

Daniel Saunders, aged 35, was last seen at 8am on Monday, February 17, at an address on the High Street.

Police said he has since been in contact with family via messages on the evening of Tuesday, February 18, when he seemed very upset.

He is described as white, five feet ten inches tall and of medium build with brown hair that is long and curly.

He was described as last seen wearing a green coat, blue jeans, grey trainers and a blue woollen hat.

Chief Inspector Steve May, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Daniel’s welfare and have been carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate him.

“It is believed Daniel may have left Swanage on Monday 17 February and travelled to the Bournemouth area.

“I would ask anyone with information as to Daniels’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would urge Daniel if he sees this appeal to please contact us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to make sure you are safe.”
