A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was stabbed in Basingstoke this week.
Police say they were called to Norden Close at 5.48pm on Wednesday, although the incident is believed to have occurred in the vicinity of Shooters Way leading to Norn Hill Bridge.
They were alerted by the ambulance service, who were at the scene dealing with a 14-year-old boy who appeared to have been stabbed in his right arm.
The boy was taken to hospital where his injuries were not deemed to be life threatening.
He has since been discharged.
Officers are now appealing to potential witnesses to come forward.
A statement from police said: "If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious in this area from around 5pm, please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting 44200064205.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
