A MAN is due to appeared in court today in relation to an alleged knife-point robbery at a shop in Poole.
Police were called to Central Convenience Stores in Ashley Road, Parkstone, at 1.12pm on Thursday, May 28, to a report of a man with a knife.
It was reported that a man had attempted to take items from the store and had threatened two staff members, allegedly stating he was going to stab.
The man was allegedly detained by a customer until officers arrived.
A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested. He has been charged with possession of a controlled drug, robbery, assault and possession of a knife or blade and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court today.
