AN 80-YEAR-OLD man has gone missing from his Christchurch home.
George Miller, who is said to "easily become confused" was last seen on Saturday afternoon at his home in Loring Road.
He was reported missing at just before 5pm yesterday because he was not at home when somebody went to his address.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "It is not known when he left his home. The last confirmed sighting of George was at 3pm on Saturday September 19 at his home.
He is described as white, five feet six inches tall and of slim build. He has white curly hair and usually has a lanyard around his neck with keys on. He is possibly wearing tracksuit bottoms, a blue overcoat and black shoes. George walks with a limp and uses a walking stick.
Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “Officers are making enquiries, but unfortunately so far we have no idea when George may have left home or where he might have gone.
“As he can easily become confused, we need to find him urgently to ensure he is safe and well.”
