TWO drivers were stopped by poice for travelling late at night with no lights on.
A spokesman for Dorset Police's No Excuse team said: "Why do some drivers forget to switch their lights on in the dark?
"Last night we stopped a Ford Focus as she'd forgotten to switch them on.
"She'd also had an MOT advisory in June, telling her two tyres were almost illegal.
"Unfortunately she hadn't bothered to change them.
"Telling us she wasn't aware doesn't work, when it's clear on the MOT history of any car online.
"The driver was rushing to pick family up after a night out.
"Fixed Penalty Notice issued.
"A Toyota was stopped again with no lights. We recorded this car at 46mph in a 30 zone.
"FPN issued, the driver was rushing to visit his partner and hadn't drank any alcohol."
