POLICE were alerted to reports of youths taking drugs at the pier bandstand in Weymouth last night.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "While on our patrol this evening the Neighbourhood PCSOs and PCs were called to a report of youths taking drugs behind the pier bandstand on the Esplanade.
"A group was located along with several items of drugs paraphernalia.
"No drugs were located on this occasion and the group were allowed to go on their way."
